He did that to himself. When even Bill Belichick is tired of your shenanigans, you know you're the one that screwed up.
Yeah, I can see that...Why , isn't it normal to quit on your team in a must win game for playoffs, or threaten your GM and call him a cracker, or post about your former team owner's massage escapades? I think you are overreacting and it's normal team player actions, run of the mill

Brown is without doubt, a HOF'er.....similar to the mentioned Sterling Sharpe. These guys were just dominant players when they ripped up the league during their era. Despite the fact that I detest people like Brown.....there really is no legit argument IMO why he shouldn't be in the Hall.
However, I voted no, as I think the lower cumulative stats will keep him out.

Looking back on it with them going out round 1 and Brady bouncing, I bet BB regrets that decision.
The best ever. I posted an entire thread about it. Facts, data, questions from the audience, guys that were close, but not as consistent.
speaking of eras, if he had done that 6 year stretch in the earlier years of HOF voting he would get in.I completely agree. Even adjusting for era, few receivers in history were as dominant over a six year stretch as Brown.

There werent as many to vote on or "try" to get in. Also they didnt have as much media & no Social media to stir up his dirt.
Gale Sayers made it in because everyone knew how good he was before his injury, but if his career happened today. he wouldnt get in because how short his career was. AB is fighting in a much more crowded Arena to get in the HOF today.
I did the exact same thing lol... It appears we are "on the fence" so to speak. Which means there should have been a tater salad option.<----clicked yes, went right to change vote and couldnt....
so one more for "no"
