ANOTHER LEAGUE??

I know we are already doing a lot of leagues, but I just had a great idea for a league...

rules are simple... It is a standard 5X5 rotiserrie.... Just keeping things simple...

Here is the twist...

It will be an NL only league for the first half of the season and then an AL only league for the second half of the season... The half point of the season will be the all star game...

the first half draft will be a normal SNAKE draft... but the second half draft will be a NON snake draft determined by the first half standings(last to best)

Roster sizes are dependent on the number of owners we get...

I'd prefer straight roto until the AS Break, then a H2H points rest of the way including playoffs.

I would do this if the second half draft snakes also. It is a bad idea to punish the teams who do well. You already have to give away your entire team.

Also, not a fan of half roto, half head to head. That does not make a lot of sense to me.

I understand your point and thought hard about it... but the reason i thought to go NON snake was for a couple reasons...
1. 2nd half is shorter than the first half
2. the reverse standings teams need more help to compete... think of it as keeping them interested ALL season...
3. September is part of the second half, as we know september is a Streamers paradise....
4. just to make it as MILKIAN as possible while still keeping it simple as possible...

don't really like H2H for this league... rotisserie is perfect because teams may draft differently in the second draft depending on where they may have been week in the first half...
