did his backup play? no stats. looks like his wr's are banged up, maybe STOP! OCHO-CINCO TIME!
Carson had absolutely no business throwing that ball. From the play, it seemed like he was afraid to take a hit so just tossed the ball into double coverage completely missing his TE.
Overall they moved the ball well down the field, but had trouble twice punching the ball in at the goal line. 3 redzone trips in the first half, and 3 fgs. Something they're going to have to work out.

I have the game pass so I watched the first half. on the first scoring drive he hit DHB in the endzone on a pass that was dropped. the 1st and goal was set up on a pass he hit Rod Streater right in the hands, but there was pass interference. there was also another pass where he led McFadden too much to the sideline on what should have been another TD..
their offense looked OK
they actually outgained the Cards by 130 yds in the first half. assuming Moore's back by week 1 and McFadden stays healthy I see Palmer having a really productive season...
we'll see though. however he does I won't be starting threads about it on a Bengals board
Some people have a weird obsession. Some with Carson, others with me.
Carson Palmer was the face of our franchise and had a very public falling out which angered fans and led them to turn on him. Is it really that surprising that fans would continue to follow his career and make posts about his failures? I'm fairly certain that if you followed the message boards for the Red Sox, they would have been full of posts about Roger Clements during the Jays days, Yankees days and steroid scandal. It's just what fans do.
Regardless, I didn't watch the game so I really have no comment on Palmer. I don't expect the Raiders will be very good this year unless they made significant improvements on defense. I figure Palmer will be somewhere else in 2 seasons and I'll continue to enjoy watching him throw pick 6s for someone else.

If that's the case I think it'd make sense to just sticky one "Carson Palmer sucks" thread. i'm not even joking. a post for everytime he makes a bad throw in a preseason game is excessive.
