Something I noticed recently about our offense is we don't hit a lot of doubles which to me are great rally starters. We have not been in the Top 15 in Doubles as a team since 2001 when we were 10th.

I mean if Trout had played, I fully expect he would have hit a 2 run homer in game 2 and two 2 run homers today to sweep the series.

It wasn't the success that brought me back actually. I still think they are a mirage of a playoff team (and I don't count making a 3 game series on the road as making the playoffs). I came back for the good Mariners banter. There are some real good people on here who, like me, have been screwed by this organization yet keep coming back. It is like a support group on here.

This is honestly the most fun i've had watching the Mariners since 2001... Especially since we have some hope over the horizon imo... I believe we're in a great situation for '23 and '24...

But like we all know, we'll all probably be disappointed... Yet, again! (Hope I just did a reverse jinx on us there... )

I agree with you. I think there is a 60% chance we make the playoffs, but we don't have the strength to go any further barring a miracle.

Yeah, we're the equivalent of Alcoholics Anonymous for the Mariners.
