They are working on a trade package now involving Eagles cap space, Bryan Colangelo, and Gritty..........

I can see Trout taking over for Wentz.....

As well he should.
Harper's a great player, Trout is trending towards top 5 all time.
Bryce was at Trout's level in 2015 and that was a great season, but Mike has totally outclassed Harper looking at their careers so far.

It's probably a cashier's check like the one Navin R Johnson got in The Jerk....."four hundred and thirty big ones, four hundred and thirty dollarinies, four hundred and thirty donuts"

Awesome news because I know us Angels fans were getting tired of the "Trout is going to leave" and "Angels need to trade Trout now" narrative.

And now with that deal over and done with the team can start planning and building around him.

Angels would have been very very stupid to let him walk.
Oh, I agree. This just wasn't on my radar at all so it came as a bit of a shock when I saw it flash up on MLB Network. I thought maybe an in-season extension was more likely. Maybe I was just distracted by Harper's FA process and how drawn out it was.

Trout has just become, unequivocally, my most hated player in baseball. I hope he breaks his leg on Opening Day and gets infected during the surgery and is forced to retire and lives out the rest of his life in a cottage somewhere in Norway, surrounded by his $430 million enclosing in on him and his regret and his 0 championships

You guys know what Al Pacino (Philly) does to Fredo (Trout) at the end of the movie, right?

Too bad GF III was such a POS.

And it's a crying shame that John Cazale died so young, he was dynamite in everything I saw him in.... haven't seen Dog Day Afternoon yet, though.

I gave Dog Day Afternoon 3/5 stars. It was good to me (mainly on the strength of Pacino's performance), but nothing great. You'd probably like it more. I still need to see The Deer Hunter. A couple weeks ago, I watched Michael Cimino's (the director of The Deer Hunter) follow-up film, Heaven's Gate with Kris Kristofferson, Christopher Walken, and Jeff Bridges. 1980 Western, that, at the time of its release, was considered the worst movie ever made. It's grown in stature and reputation since. I gave it 4/5 stars.

The Godfather: 2/5 stars
The Godfather, Part II: 3.5/5 stars
