So, Luck shouldn't even be on the list - since he isn't a great yet. He could become one, but he isn't yet.

That's what I said in my first post....He hasn't won anything yet and is only in his 4th yr...
I know some will say Moreno didn't win a SB his whole career, but he did get to 1 early on so that means he won the AFCG at least and laid down a long career of winning ways and records....So he belongs there, but Luck hasn't even scratched the surface of great QB's yet, he has a long way to go....

Andrew Luck
has a 2.4% career interception rate. That's 5th-best among current NFL QBs behind Rodgers, Brady, Ryan and Sam Bradford (and the last 2 on that list suck IMO).

I kinda agree, but then I don't....Flacco and Eli have 4 rings, but Luck has no reason to prove why he's superior......not just in my mind, but the minds of the majority

All you hear from Colts fans, is Luck has to carry the team because everyone around him is crap. Soon Luck is coming up to be resigned, can you even imagine the $ involved in this. Bye bye T.Y. Hilton. If Colts fans think Luck is surrounded by crap now just wait, it's getting worse.

Colts fans aren't the only one's that think he's surrounded by a shit Oline, running game, and defense......pretty sure that's league-2ide!

They have a point. The Colt were a bad, bad team at non-QB positions last year, and that was before about 19 players went on injured reserve.

Gotta give credit where credit's due.

Both Wilson & Luck will have a harder time when they become richer & the cap space dwindles (just like Kaepernick did); we'll see how they handle it...

So your saying when Luck retires, Marino will still be one up on him?

Son, if you think the ape man is better than Flacco or Eli, you better leave the pipe alone....
Joe has 7 yrs, 6 playoffs, 3 AFCCG's and a SB MVP in his pocket now and is just hitting his stride...
Eli has 2 SB rings already and plenty of time for more...
We already know they can do it, but Luck better learn how to stop the Patriots from beating him like a dirty rug for spring cleaning before you go comparing him to elite qb's....

That's one way of looking at it....but I don't see it exactly that way.

Is it better to be a QB with a 2.4 INT% when the league has a 2.6%, or a qb with a 2.6 INT% when the league has a 3.1%? When compared to what the league has done during his NFL career he falls behind. Here's every active QB with at least 30 games started (or 10 pass attempts in relief) as the INT% relates to the league average (average compare to league/ lower is better, and NFL rank all time):

Aaron Rodgers (58.33, 1)
Tom Brady (66.52, 6)
Colin Kaepernick (72.10, 16)
Sam Bradford (76.78, 26)
Russell Wilson (78.69, 28)
Jason Campbell (81.33, 35)
Robert Griffin (81.78, 36)
Matt Ryan (82.90, 39)
Alex Smith (83.44, 41)
Peyton Manning (84.71, 47)
Joe Flacco (87.64, 57)
Drew Brees (88.04, 62)
Matt Scaub (89.01, 67)
Shaun Hill (89.11, 69)
Andrew Luck (89.87, 73)
Ben Roethlisberger (90.52, 76)
Phillip Rivers (90.60, 77)
Tony Romo (91.07, 80)
Cam Newton (92.46, 84)
Michael Vick (92.64, 85)
Matt Hasselbeck (95.44, 100)
Ryan Tannehill (95.76, 103)
Matthew Stafford (99.33, 117)
David Carr (99.84, 120)
Matt Cassel (101.10, 128)
Carson Palmer (106.62, 148)
Matt Moore (107.63, 153)
Chad Henne (113.10, 174)
Eli Manning (113.42, 178)
Tavaris Jackson (114.78, 183)
Josh McCown (115.45, 186)
Andy Dalton (115.61, 187)
Josh Freeman (116.14, 189)
Jay Cutler (117.21, 193)
Derek Anderson (121.44, 208)
Vince Young (122.63, 210)
Ryan Fitzpatrick (122.92, 211)
Christian Ponder (124.20, 217)
Rex Grossman (124.85, 218)
Mark Sanchez (129.25, 224)
Geno Smith (158.31, 229 or last)

Luck isn't near the bottom of the list - but he isn't at the top either. 15th out of 41 isn't bad. As his career goes, he'll either learn how to protect the ball and become like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, or he'll keep his gunslinger ways and will continue to put up high turnovers like Jay Cutler and Eli Manning.

Andrew Luck may go down as one of the best in history when all is said and done - but why do people insist that he's there now (or at least close). There's nothing wrong looking at what he's accomplished and saying "He's been really good, has room to improve and he'll get better". As he gets more seasoned, he'll reach the potential everyone is so excited to see.

This whole thread is about a Colt fan begging for respect. Please respect my QB, even if he craps his pants in the playoffs, it's all I got....please...some respect fellas.

These threads begging for respect, I agree.

Andrew Luck has thrown the 3rd most INTs since 2012 (playoffs and regular season). His 55 is only bested by the 56 thrown by both Eli Manning and Andy Dalton. His 30 fumbles is also 3rd (15 lost). But, obviously it's Seattle's need to respect that caused him to have 70 turnovers in 54 games.

Ok; I'll buy that. But he's hardly an "interception machine" IMO. Also, there were only a few QBs on that list who were better than Luck in the INT department when you eliminate the bad QBs on the list who may have thrown fewer picks but still suck.
