Coming from the poster who guarantees a Washington win next week? While the new guy takes it one game at a time? You may not like Alaskaguy. But he does post a lot of stats, facts, articles and makes very solid points.
Oh just stop it you dip shit. AG's fine sometimes, but by his own admission is an ass at others and should expect to be treated back in kind. Stop trying to get in the middle simply because you have issues with dayman. You have a long history of picking sides and flipping when it suits you. If you really want to be an ass with what little time you may have left here then don't try to pretend you are really on AG's side of anything. He's more than fully capable of dealing with his own situations.

I don't have any problem with fuskies new or old talking shit, until you lose your shit is no better or worse than anybody else. Shit, if I was a Husky fan I would be talking a line of shit a mile long...and being pissed that we only dropped 70 on Oregon. Heck, I'm not a Husky fan and I'm pissed they only dropped 70 on Oregon...those score bloating fuckers need someone to drop 100 on them now that they are down, rub their nose in it like a puppy that pissed on the rug.

but it's early to claim they have elite talent and can play with anyone in the country right now.

Huskie team is loaded w/ NFL talent on every level of their team. Pro GMs are drooling at the thought of early entries to the draft.

Probably why they beat the crap outta teams every week 70-20.

That 70 - 21 blowout of Oregon earlier this season was better than sex. I've taken years of crap from Oregon posters and now the tables have turned. Oregon's peasant uprising is over with and the rightful heirs have once again taken the thrown. I've watched reruns of that Oregon game a half dozen times so far and it never gets old.

Anyone who doesn't have that thing saved isn't a real fan. And I should know.

There are a few places in the second half when the camera pans across the audience and shows those ghostly faces of despair. Sometimes I just sit and loop those while I rock back and forth with my happy shake.

That game didn't only kill the streak. It left a to the bone scar, like the Boise St. and Alamo bowl games, that will never heal on that program. It was a historical asskicking in their house. You'd have to go back to the 1980s to see Duck massacres by the Huskies that bad. Biblical level stuff. We might as well of grabbed Uncle Phil's dumbass throne at the Mariota center, dragged it up I-5 behind the bus, and dump it off the Montlake bridge while the Husky band plays taps. That game was basically the same thing.

Washington 2014 - 8-6
Washington 2015 - 7-6

There is zero doubt that Stanford, Oregon, UCLA and USC are all down.

I think Peterson is a great coach and I think Washington is vastly improved but it's early to claim they have elite talent and can play with anyone in the country right now.

It won't be shocked if they go undefeated in the regular season but I won't be shocked if they lose to USC and Wazu.

Washington posters are starting to get very Oregon like in their posts. It won't be long until some numb skull starts predicting 50 point victories like Mamba used to. If the Washington OD shows up we are locking him in your PAC 12 thread.

Be careful guys or you will become what you hate.

Give me a break. We spent close to a decade of being driven into the ground by the coach who shall not be named and Drunk Sark. Now were supposed to not celebrate we finally got a real coach and or take joy in our Ws?

This thread reminds reminds me of the thread midnightangel made on the nfl boards about the seahawks.

If huskies win in the playoffs and make the national championship we will have to bump this thread a lot. :dhd:

Curious. Have you looked at the acquired talent that UW has? Possibly the top CB duo (Jones and King) in the Nation. One great Safety in Baker. LB's Victor and Mathis, DL Gaines, Vea, and Qualls. Every one has an NFL career opportunity. That is 8, it might be more, I'll go with 8 for now.

Now on Offense.
Browning, Then Gaskin and 3 other RB's that are topnotch. WR, Ross, An All-American. Pettis, and McClatcher.
Freshman Fuller. OL of Adams, McGary, Brosteck,.

That is some top notch talent, that HAS performed. Most are under senior, just to let the NATION know, UW will be recognized even if they are 'overlooked this year'. When they win 12+ this year, they will be ranked highly, next year even better.

This YEAR, top shelf team.

I quit reading after you talked about Washington possibly having the best CB duo. That tells me, you are a Washington fan, not a CFB fan.

I don't think that's what he's saying. It's more about anointing yourselves world-beaters when you have one ranked win this entire year, and it's really not that impressive of a win. If you guys make it through the season unscathed and win the conference, great for you. It's undoubtedly a down year in the Pac this year, so if you can go on to beat someone like Clemson, Ohio State/michigan, or Alabama, pound your chests as loud as possible. Until then, though, keep it a little more in check.

MINNESOTA HAS BEATEN NOOOOOOOOO ONE. HONESTLY, WHO THE HELL HAVE THEY BEATEN. They have to have one of the easiest SoS in CFB
And who have BYU and Kansas State beaten? I guess I'll give TCU credit for beating a thoroughly untested and wildly overrated Baylor. That may be a slightly better win than anything Minnesota has, but let's be real - this isn't the Baylor of the last few years. None of them have any amazing wins, but Minnesota has half the losses of any of those other teams. If those teams were so much better, why is Minnesota getting votes to be ranked and none of those other 3 are?

I have a feeling you won't have to worry about bumping this thread. If Washington gets in, it is almost certainly going to go against Bama in the semi-final. They predicted around a 2 TD spread in that game and it will only go up, unless Washington puts a beating on USC like Bama did.

Plus, while I love Washington's QB, I think he'd have culture shock when he sees the amount of pressure Bama will put on him, as UW hasn't played anyone even remotely in the ballpark of Bama defense.

You could say the same thing about OSU/michigan. Washington would move the ball, but they haven't faced a defense like either of those yet, and won't until the CFP. If they somehow slip up, it would make an interesting Rose Bowl matchup with one of OSU/michigan/Wisconsin.
