And honestly, I'm just thrilled to be able to have this discussion right now...
LOL. It would be amazing if the Huskies did go and became a Cinderella team...

That will always be an issue with any system. It is at every level.Yeah. And again someone gets left out that may be more deserving.
I agree why should a team be rewarded for weak scheduling? And what happens if we have upsets in CCG's? Does a 2-3 loss team that pulls an upset get in? SOS should play a major role imoYeah. And again someone gets left out that may be more deserving.
Oregon went downhill against Nebraska.Cal upset Utah,Stanford is a mess now........Translation- yep SC shit the bed against Bama and UCLA against A&M, so basically the Pac has that shit division just like the SECC....

Good god, do you have any measurable amount of reading comprehension? You are the worst poster i've probably ever seen. PAY attention. I have stayed on point, stupid. Now, put down the Keystone Light and try to put together a reasonable position, so far, you just look like a fucking idiot. Not sorry for the hurtful truth, but you appear to be clueless.Listen little shit, either stay on topic or get the fuck out of here with your sad attempt at trolling.
Again what quality team has Bama or Ohio State beaten this year ?You live in a dream world moron. We laughing at you Husky fans squirming to not have to name that quality win that makes the Huskies a Top 5 team.
Any takers ? What team was it ?

This is where you lost me. Colorado's resume is nowhere near Penn State's. Oklahoma State, even worse. They lost at home to a Central Michigan team that was just destroyed by Miami (OH). The Pitt game was an early road game that they barely lost. The transitive property literally means nothing in college football. Nebraska beat Northwestern by more than OSU did, and we just saw how much that matters.Playoff Committee or AP?
In the CFP rankings, I think a case could be made for nearly every team below them down to #23 except for Baylor. (They are way overrated) Especially Colorado and Oklahoma State. And West Virginia has a better resume IMHO. I'll be the first to acknowledge the transitive property's deficiencies, but Colorado played Michigan a hell of a lot better than PSU. And Okie Lite handled Pitt. Some may think the Minne, Maryland and Iowa wins were good, but after all, they were Minee, Maryland and Iowa.
Even though they have lost a few, I think the trio of Florida State, UNC and Va Tech are pretty good as well.

The computer system is better than human polls imo. Less bias. Who is to say an undefeated team with avery weak SOS is better than a 1 loss team with a strong SOS like Louisville for example. There are a few 1 loss teams I think could have a very valid case come the end of the season. We do want the best 4 teams in the playoffs. Competition level plays a roleAha ! But who decides SOS ?
We may need to bring the computer back...
They are undefeated in the PAC with wins over Stanford, Oregon, Cal, etc.. While most college football observers (all experts) understand what this means you clearly don't. Now, if you don't like my post to your thread, as obvious to a astute observer as they may be, either get a clue or stop whining. YOU are the one that does't understand, you fucking dolt....
Again what quality team has Bama beaten this year?
Jesus, are you perm high? Troll on.......Point to one post in this thread where you've posted anything of value.
We'll leave the light on....
ADs have got themselves into a bind and are under pressure for constantly increasing revenue. For a lot of those ADs claiming how difficult it is to schedule quality OOCs, I interpret this to mean, "We can't convince any other good teams to play us at home without a return game." When you get the big dogs talking to each other, they all want 8-9 home games and can't reach a conclusion. So, they are stuck with paying teams like my Miners to come in for the slaughter. (We do appreciate the $$$$) That's the only way they can all have a bunch of home games. If they try to play each other, it doesn't work. Frickin' Michigan has 8 this year I believe. All the AD's say it's hard to schedule OOC games.
Sooo, who should be rand #4 or 5?Stanford, Oregon and Cal? You do realize it is 2016, right? Those teams are a combined 7-12 in conference and have a 13-14 record overall.
Yeah USC is real tough. They definitely add value to a SoS.Your team ?
52-6
He said qualityYour team ?
52-6
Who besides Ohio State?Penn State has at least 2 wins better than that.
