This team watching Cobra and Amerson clean out their lockers in consecutive weeks all while RG3 is in street clothes has to get their attention. Produce or you won't play and you might even be gone.
Gravy train that was Redskins Park appears to be over. This is no longer the place to come get paid, lay down, and trash the organization on your way out the door. Scot.
I hope/long to see a future when other teams are vigorously scouring our teams releases. Not yet.Yeah, he'll get picked up.
I'm telling you guys Griffin won't be cut until Snyder is sold on Gruden and Cousins. Five or six more weeks like this and I think Snyder does cut him. But if Kirk implodes and Snyder has to fire Jay, he doesn't want that to be after he has already cut Robert. Snyder is taking to show me, don't tell me approach.
While I agree with all you say. It still seems wrong that Griffin is still on the team even if inactive and in street clothes.
I believe Scot is running the show, but imho Snyder vetoed RG getting released before getting a good look at Kirk. RG has never really been a bad guy in the locker room. A little self absorbed and never taking blame, but I am not surprised that he's falling in line.Don't agree at all. All signs at this time point to SM running the show - not Snyder. I think that they are just not taking chances in case Cousins and/or McCoy get hurt. Most likely RG3 will be cut soon enough. I also don't believe that RG3 is causing a real distraction at Redskins Park. The current group of players and coaches appear to be no nonsense & not affected by all of the BS that the media constantly spews.
Don't worry about it. Enjoy the current success (which will include some low pts to be sure) & try not to dwell on things like this - I truly believe that the Redskins players rarely think about this.
I agree with you concerning the players. They just want to win and don't care who may be QBing the team. I do wish the press would let the RG3 angle go. Yesterday in one of the NFL.com stories penned by Jason Reid. He had to mention that Griffin was inactive and in street clothes during yesterday's game.
Exactly how I feel. When he comes in, Miami licks its chop and then targets him 6 straight times into the end zone, well you just can't have a guy like that on your team.Crazy how bad Amerson got from his very promising rookie year. Cover corner with length and a cheap rookie deal. But if he's not even contributing on specials and he looks like a lost cause....time to let go.
