Cousins is best they've had in 20 plus years. The skins are suffering from no defense. BTW, just as you cowboy fans tried to tell us about rgknee I see about the same thing with Dak and your team. The defense is over achieving and Dak and Zeke are complimenting one another. Give the NFL time to figure them out and Dak will not be good. Although he is at least more durable than Bob
I agree about cousins 100% and you could be right about Dak, but then again you might be wrong. One reason I was saying waut til the defenses get used to RG is he didn't play anything like a traditional NFL QB, Dak is playing as a pocket QB and most of his runs are not by design, but hust that the D is literally giving him free yards.

Understandable, just looks to me like he relies more on school yard football thanks to that excellent Oline. He may be the answer though.

Just when I thought Washington fans couldn't possibly make more of a fool of themselves in this thread, another one shows up with more bullshit.

Yeah no way he improves or anything. This is it. No more growth for Dak. The NFL will figure him out. RG3 comparison? When did Dak start 3-6? When did RG3 lead a team to a HFA throughout the playoffs like Dak has the chance to? This guy just went 32-36 against one of the hottest defenses in the NFL in Week 15. NFL sure nuff gonna figure him out.

Notice how Redskin fans always jump to the RG3 comparison. Stop comparing our players to players in your failure of an organization. Just because your team fucks up QBs doesn't mean we do.

Predictable butthurt after getting thumped at home by a sub .500 team. Enjoy the draft

Except Dak doesn't rely on his legs to succeed in the passing game. He is absolutely nothing like RG3.

I actually was hoping the Skins would win last night. I really wanted them fighting for their playoff lives as they played the Giants. I guess they still are, haven't look at the playoff scenarios.

I believe Dallas can win at least one of these last two games, but sure would be nice to be able to rest our starters for a half in Philly.

What?

What part of his game is 'schoolyard football'? He stands in the pocket, surveys the field, and makes conservative throws. "schoolyard football" is breaking the pocket and going free for all. Dak never does that.

Do you even watch the NFL?

RG3 is nothing when teams aren't fearing him breaking contain and running. He relies on people respecting the read option. now that they don't he has no chance in the NFL. Dak is nothing like that.

This is just another skins fan equating their overpaid failure on our bargain QB.

He saw that both guys were black, must have a game like RG3 or Kaepernick.

Dak has proper mechanics. He can read defenses. He has a strong arm. He's mobile. He has a strong work ethic. He's a leader. He'll make about $20 million less than 7 win Kirk Cousins will next season....I LIKE THAT!!!

Sorry, I just gotta laugh at this knob saying Dak is anything like Rg3 or is an improv QB. Literally the knock against Dak is the EXACT opposite, that he is a "game manager behind a great line". You can't get more polar opposites than a game-manager vs Rg3-type. :pound:

Forget the RG3 comparison, let's compare Dak to Cousins. Cousins wasn't a full time start till his 4th season, but interestingly, he played in 14 games his first three seasons, the same number of games Dak has played this season. So let's compare their first 14 games played

Dak- 67%, 3418 yards, 20 TD's, 4 picks, 103.2 rating 12-2 record
KC- 58.9%, 3030 yards, 18 TD's, 19 picks, 82.1 rating, 4-10 record

Especially if Jaylon comes back and can play next season. Boy what a draft the last one was......in that case!
Will be interesting to see what happens. Was tough to watch Spence last week doing what we need since that was the guy I wanted in that spot. But, you would have to be crazy to criticize our draft based on what we are seeing so far.

I like it, but 3 or 4 games here or there isnt really fair. however, it isn't like Dak had all offseason and rookie camps to prep to be the starter. For OTA's he was the 3rd string at best.

Who knows, maybe you are right, but the comparison of Dak to RGIII from a Football perspective is silly. They are nothing alike. All I know is that it is going to be fun to watch as a Cowboy fan.

Have you watched Dak? He is about as far from "School yard football" as any young QB around

It is and it isn't. Those numbers were spread over 3 years, KC had 3 full offseasons in that span. Would those numbers have been better or worse if he had been forced to start 14 games as a rookie? Up until the Seattle preseason game, nobody thought Dak would get significant playing time till year 3-4 either. 20 TD's and 4 picks is amazing for a rookie
