In case anyone was wondering, they went back to what works and a haunted house. Brought Cuba from OJ and some of the rest of the cast from previous years. Pretty interesting how they do it like the reenacted ghost stories where there are actors for the actual people. It was definitely a good start.

Interesting framing device going with the reenactment stuff. Not sure if I like it or not. It's a nice change but at the same time, it sort of takes the tension out of it since you know nothing is really going to happen to those characters since they are telling the story after the fact. Despite all that, the 1st episode was the creepiest episode they've done in a long ass time. For once, the show actually had a horror feel to it

I just think the cable networks are so saturated with the re enactments that it works.

As far as nothing happening to them, you can take it like the actual people are the ones in the main show, or you can take it as the actors are the one narrating what happened. It just seems like too small of a role for the girl, best known for the naughty nurse in Asylum. Its funny how cuba gooding jr does not look anything like his guy. It reminds me of Natural Born Killers, when Mickey and Malorie kill the cop at the donut shop, in a different brand convertible and looking nothing like them.

It's AHS. It always loses steam. The question is "when". I say it'll last 4 episodes before going to shit.

Waaaaay past due, but I finally just finished watching the 1st episode of Hotel... And holy shit was that a f*cked up episode.

I'm a big AHS fan...although I don't quite know what I think about this current season. I didn't like the first two episodes, but it seems to be picking up, so we'll see.
