I watched the entire year so far and I hate the style. Absolutely hate it. Jittery and overly busy.

I actually think this is the best season they've done in a long time. The story has been consistent and coherent for a change.

Are there any AHS fans here? How do you feel bout the new season after the reveal of the title? I am super excited. I think Roanoke was one of the best seasons.

Roanoke was the best season the show has done since Asylum imo. But given AHS' track record, I temper my expectations every season. I always expect the show to go off the rails 3 episodes in and just go to shit because it usually does. I'm still in disbelief how badly they fucked up Coven. It was such an awesome premise!

Yeah Coven was ruined badly! I liked Asylum better than Roanoke but its pretty close. I think I'm also one of the few that actually enjoyed most of Hotel lol. I'm just like you, holding back on the excitement until the first episode or two air because you never know. Freak Show was an awesome premise too but it was very very slooooow.

Yeah Coven was ruined badly! I liked Asylum better than Roanoke but its pretty close. I think I'm also one of the few that actually enjoyed most of Hotel lol. Freak Show went on too long and the plot was structured poorly. Everything built up to the Halloween episode but they still had like 8 episodes after that (including a 2 week break for Christmas/New Years). The pacing and plot really dragged because of it

I gave up after Freak Show. Never saw Hotel and didn't even realize Roanoke existed (or at least I forgot that I realized).

If Roanoke doesn't recapture my love for the series then I'll probably call it quits too.

@FaCe-LeE-uS and @calsnowskier , give Roanoke a shot. It's legitimately in the discussion for best series they've done. They stick to a plot for once and at times, its actually somewhat scary, which has been rare for this show despite having "Horror" in the title.

I will say Roanoke is probably my 2nd favorite series, after Asylum. I'm really hopeful for this season too.

I've watched every season (don't ask me why), but I have to applaud AHS for creating a clown I wasn't afraid of, I don't know how they did it, but hats off.
