"It's a common word in so many players' everyday lives," he told themmqb.com. "Among African-American players and people, it's used among friends all the time. It seems like a bit much for the NFL to try to get rid of it. It's a pretty common word in the locker room."
I think it is racist that black people can say it and be ok and if I said it to them, I have some issues coming my way. On top of that, I dont ever recall a black man getting in trouble of any sort for saying cracker or honkey. It is bullshit. If it is such a bad word and degrading, why is it so popular to use for blacks? I hear conversations where it is the most used word... This whole double standard is ridiculous. I understand blacks don't want "the man" calling them that but don't go around using it yourself then.
They should let anyone say any word without repercussions or ban all slurs. If Richard Sherman can say it to another player, Peyton Manning should be able to say the same thing to the same player and not catch crap for it.
