actually, things could get interesting if vince did open up his wallet, the AFA wont. But if cvince started giving younger college guys big money to lure them, or let them get paid before the nfl did..........

It looks like the XFL average salary is $75,000. That might be able to entice some, dumb kids, but after taxes, agents, and insurance it's not that much

Something tells me the AAF isn't interested in a 13-3 kind of game.

They have more than 4 teams so that's a plus in their favor. At this point, the IFL looks more appealing and features former Arena League teams.

Another thing is the AAF is giving small markets teams while the XFL is targeting big cities that already have NFL teams.

Already not off to a good start for the XFL, but I will sneak peak them too regardless.

Going big city does seem stupid from the outside from it is tens time easier and cheaper for the league. The only other real feasible option would be essentially a bus league where it is all in like Texas or a compacted SEC style area. Which is also another reason I think the XFL has the ability to attract guys ineligible for the NFL since they aren’t real bus leagues.

I remember the Ohio Glory of the WLAF, born out of the ashes of the horribly maligned Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks. Whatever reputation Roman Gabriel had was ruined with that shitshow.
