Since we have been left to draw our own conclusions as to why this was posted, I have 2.
1) If your team has only been to 10 Bowl games, your team sucks.
2) If your team doesn't have at least a .600 winning percentage in Bowl games, your team sucks.

Thank You
That is all.

Thats funny because the 5 of the 6 teams with the most bowl appearances are under .600. Only USC does not suck in the group of Alabama, Texas, Nebraska, Georgia, Tennessee and USC. :noidea:

That's because they went to bowl games when they only had a few.

If you don't have a 1.000 winning percentage in the BCSNCG, your team sucks.

Remember in the 50's when OU ruled the Big 7 they could only go to a bowl game every other year due to conference rules...otherwise they would have a lot more appearances.

Yes..... Nebraska was in the same conference.

Also, do those standards mean Okie Lite is better than Oklahoma and Nebraska? :wtf2:

OSU had only 6 bowl appearances before 1980. One also needs to remember before the big bowl explosion of the 1980s and since that bowl teams usually were the cream of CFB and the games were really good, 2 losses usually meant you stayed home. None of this 8-4 vs 6-6 teams like today.

Yup, exactly. Also, if you didn't win your conference, you didn't play for a NC. There was no such thing as a "good" loss. If you lost, you fucking lost, too bad so sad......

Prior to 1980, 4 loss teams went to bowls 88 times, 5 loss went 20 times, 6 loss went 3 times. While it doesn't happen like to day, it's not like it never happened.

How many of those were due to conference contracts though, especially the Rose Bowl? And I did say "usually" because the contracts sometimes sent teams with more than 2 losses.

And how many teams with more than two losses in just the last ten years have went? Probably a lot more than...

Two were the Rose Bowl, one was Sugar (during the war), two were the Orange because they couldn't sent Oklahoma, three were due to the Sun Bowls agreement with the Border conference. I'm unaware of any others that were due to a championship affiliation.
