Read that article earlier. A smaaaaaallll part of me believes he actually wanted to stay. The other part of me feels he's just saying that. Miami is being investigated for getting areal done before the appropriate time period and this could just be his way to help out his new team. If he says it wasn't til after he didn't hear from the Lions, then it looks as if Miami didn't "tamper" with him.

I personally don't believe Suh, and that's my prerogative. Everyone has their own opinion.

Everything points to otherwise. His sister talking about him not wanting to be in Detroit. Him taking as you called in another thread a deal that was barely better. If he wanted to be in Detroit he would be. I'm not mad at him for leaving, but that's just something player's are told to say because the fans don't like to hear them say yeah I was totally taking whoever gave me the most money.

"For me, my goal was always to come back," Suh said. "I was never looking to want to leave and figure out a different situation. But at the end of the day, I have to do what's best for myself and for my family."

Did Suh not say "Jimmy Sexton" was going to pick what TEAM he played for before the end of last season? Suh does have the last word. Read between the lines... Testing the FA waters before jumping ship and bailing on the Lions fan base was never about Loyalty.

Who the hell raised you cretins to just assume people are pathological liars? Jesus.

He gave absolutely no indication whatsoever that he wanted to stay here. Not one public statement until after he had signed and the only other people saying that he wanted to be are the two clowns who have continually shown themselves to be liars (and idiots).

It was always about $$$ for him. Whoever gave him the most. Thus the idiotic statement that he has to do what's best for him and his family. That's the simple justification that is always used.

They first thank God, then how excited they are to be with the fantastic new organization and how much they respect the (insert coach, GM, and owner) and the passionate fans, and then the organization and fans they just fucked for giving them the opportunity to play in the NFL and how they always thought they were going to be there but in the end.....(insert the bullshit "needed to do what's best for their family" crap).

Then they repeat the part about being so excited about the new team and direction they are going and how happy they are to be a part of that and winning a Super Bowl. That sound familiar? Its that same bullshit from pretty much every single player every single time.

I already have 70 million from my first contract..... BUT I need to do what's best for my family. Like his ass is flipping burgers and choosing to go into management at BK or something lol

Yeah I read the article. Suh also said his feet were cold so he didn't realize he was stepping on someone. This is just what his PR rep told him to stay, he's known for a long time he wasn't staying. At least since cowboys game when he was crying after loss. Which is fine, can't hate on the man for making a choice, no need to start bullshitting lions fans though. I wish him well, he gave lions fans some gr8 years.

Glad to see a sense of humor... Driving home other night heard Hootie and Blowfish and sung your song Rob

Sometimes you're crazy
Then you wonder why
I'm such a baby yeah
That Mayhew makes me cry.
Well there's nothing I can do
I only wanna be with Suh

You can call me your fool
I only wanna be with Suh
Yeah I'm tangled up in Honolulu blue
I only wanna be with Suh

Fuk you! That's not my Suh song.

This is.

I'm lion alone with my head on the phone
Thinking of you till it hurts
You looked great in Honolulu Blue, but what else can we do?
Tormented and torn apart

I wish I could carry your smile in my heart
For times when our record seems so low
It would make me believe what tomorrow could bring
now we'll never see the playoffs, let alone a ring

I'm all out of love, I'm so lost without Suh
I know you were right, leaving for Miami
I'm all out of love, what am I without Suh?
I can't be too late to say that I was so wrong
thinking Mayhew wouldn't fuck this up

Miami Dolphins' Ndamukong Suh chooses old college jersey number - ESPN

Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh had a dilemma when he recently signed with the Miami Dolphins: His number with the Detroit Lions -- No. 90 -- was already taken by new teammate and fellow starting defensive tackle Earl Mitchell.

While many big-time players ask, demand, beg, or pay to keep their jersey number, depending on the situation, Suh took an easier approach and announced Friday afternoon on Twitter and Instagram that he is going back to his college roots of No. 93 from Nebraska.

More awesomeness from Suh.

Dolphins just keep getting better. How does the rest of the AFC East keep pace with that move. A number change must move up his sack total by 6 on the season.

Jesus Swarm, I champion your right to bitch about the Lions but you've got to have more to offer than applauding him for a number change. His mailing address has changed too. Probably his phone # as well. Not exactly football worthy things to discuss

More like cheap douch-nozzle who didn't want to pay for his number.
