Good teams dont make trades for players that are gonna eventually be cut by their teams.

We mishandled Jon Allen’s situation, and trading draft capital and then signing TH to a huge deal is a mistake.

Free agents will want to sign with us now, and the way to get them to continue to want to sign with is to manage the cap, free agency, and draft effectively and take care of our own.

A trade out of the first round is likely, and we should expect a prudent but active free agency, just like last year.

If fowler, chinn, and brown sign elsewhere then we could get comp picks.

Thats the way to help restore a franchise.

Yeah, the Skins need to avoid that type if situation at all costs. TH won't cost near as much as MG, but these last 2 contract deals for Crosby n Garrett didn't do the Skins or any teams any favors.
