And yet the American League leads interleague play 94-78

I know, it seems the AL always smokes the NL in interleague. I wonder if it's the DH affecting it somehow. But top team by top team don't you think the NL is a bit stronger?

Cardinals, Nationals, and Dodgers are the top teams to me, but the NL also has the Brewers, Rockies, and Phillies. And while I'd put the White Sox as right there with them as the worst teams in baseball, I would say the AL's next worst teams of Seattle, Boston, and Oakland are better than the NL's worst.

Pretty solid take. But don't look now the White Sox are winning a little bit, they won't make the playoffs but they may end up a .500 team....

Well before being walked off by biggest all star snubb of All time Brian Dozier

The Os were a league best 20-10 in last 30

You can also say the AL has quite a bit more depth than the NL, so it more or less balances out.

My boy Wong should be there....more doubles, RBI, HR, better SLG % than Lemahieu...and he seems to be on web gems 3-4 times a week.

The contrast between the pitching staffs in the AL and NL is interesting. Lot of hard throwing RP's in the AL.

Chipper Jones batted .319/.441/.633 in 1999, winning NL MVP. And didn't make the ASG.

Carlos Correa should honestly be starting for the AL at SS. He's played in 1/3 of the games as Escobar and Iglesias but still has them beat in oWAR and WAR.

I miss the days of Jeter, Nomar, Tejada, and A-Rod killing it at SS.

Nah, you just miss Jeter. Don't lie.

I feel like Kershaw and Kluber, being reigning Cy Young winners, should get a bit of the benefit of the doubt with respect to their ERAs, especially since they've been dominant K/BB guys (each top-five in pitcher WAR).

Kershaw's still got a nice ERA, and that's inflated by unsustainably high HR/FB%, and Kluber just happens to pitch in front of perhaps the league's worst (perhaps even historically bad) defense. Kershaw also happens to be second in MLB in FIP and first in xFIP, and has the most strikeouts.

Kluber, I can see. The ERA isn't appealing, but omitting Kershaw is pretty unacceptable.

Nah it should be Bogaerts over any of those guys.
