Rusev is definitely AEW bound imo. The reason WWE released him is because he supposedly wasn't willing to sign a contract when they were reupping other talent. I'd be shocked if there isn't interest on both sides.

AEW is going to need a few more upper card faces if the stuff they’re teasing with the elite goes down.

When he and Khan hyped it up as a beloved indie wrestler I went from thinking he was a long shot to a favorite. Due to the coronavirus it had to be someone stationed in America and indie meant non WWE/NXT.

My favorite part of AEW is seeing the Orange and Eddies of the world with a chance of becoming stars on national TV. I couldn't imagine either one on Raw or SD but think both can be major stars here

That was four years ago and he hasn’t done or said anything stupid since that I or anyone else is aware of. So I think he’ll be fine.
