He was either not positioned right or he looked like an idiot. Whenever a ref catches something like that, they should toss the person immediately.
They very rarely issue count outs or dq’s in AEW, so that would’ve been out of the question. If they did, how many tag teams would be dq’d for being in the ring double teaming longer than the supposed 10 count they have to get out of the ring?

The obvious reason for not having the person removed is because that person was supposed to be involved with the originally planned 'controversial' ending.

Not defending the booking per se but just as an explanation.. Jericho lost clean to Kingston in a one on one match at a PPV and they protected Eddie as much as possible with the outside interference last night. Jericho needed the win to continue the feud but I hope at the end of it Kingston is in an elevated spot.

Also wondering if the Starks-Danhausen match next week is going to involve Hook somehow.

That's probably what they had in mind. The problem is that its just going on too long and its getting repetitive with the constant interference and numbers advantage of JAS over Kingston. And the way they built to last night heavily inclined you expectations that this would be a payoff. So for it to just be yet another ending to kick the can down the road, that became extremely deflating.

You never know the full story but I do understand his frustration with the lack of communication on the lack of Tony Khan and talent relations though as it’s not the first time a wrestler has come out and said they had a problem with not being contacted.

I have never gotten the fandom of him. He's completely bland. Yeah, he can wrestle well but there's plenty of guys that can go in the ring nowadays. He has nothing that makes him stand out. He's sort of the definition of an indy star to me, can wrestle but lacks what it takes to stand out in any way on a big stage.

Plus, from the sounds of things, he's basically just pissed he's not gonna be the lead dog in ROH anymore. TK is stupid busy (his own fault to be honest) so he can't meet with people on the drop of a dime all the time. They've got a structure where apparently you go thru coaches and agents. He did, didn't like what he got told. TK finally got to talk with him day of show and he flipped out like he wasn't being respected enough by not getting a meeting sooner. Chill the fuck out. You ain't Kenny Omega or CM Punk.
