the bookie is gone. Took my money and left - look up top. The tab is missing.

Thoughts and prayers.

How much were you down for? I'm only out about 500

Oh and fuck you. When do the Mets play? Could have sworn I heard they made the playoffs.

Kimbrel and his lame chicken wing hanging out there while getting the sign is old stuff. When you walk 30-something batters in 50-something innings...you need to get a new schtick.

David Price 0-8 with an era of 5.74 when he starts in the playoffs. That is incredibly bad

It's been a very fun season regardless of how this series ends, but it would absolutely suck to see it end in a 3-0 sweep. It's feeling more like 2005 than 1999/2003/2004/2007.

Sox just didn't show up to Game 2. Period. Just swinging at everything in the dirt like last night. Very frustrating.

Saw a pretty interesting "theory" about Price on BBTF:

I have a David Price theory. Price doesn't have a knockout pitch, he throws hard and hits his spots, generally the outside corner, but none of his pitches have exceptional movement. The baseball season is so long that hitters just show up and hit, despite all the talk of pre-series meetings, etc., they just see ball, hit ball.

Come the playoffs, hitters bear down and really pay attention to the pitcher and what he is trying to do. In Price's case that means not being too aggressive on the outside corner and forcing him to come in more. Price's pitches don't have the plus movement that would make him ace. He turns into a regular pitcher and gets hit.
