The Jays offence was gangbusters June and July (and Bautista missed a full month of that period) but dropped the hell off after the trade deadline. A lot of it was Donaldson having some sort of issue that was holding him back along with another Bautista injury but Saunders cooled the hell off after the ASG and Upton never really provided much to compensate for that.

I'm less confident in Liriano coming out of the pen than I am of Osuna. Part of the BP problems is that Gibbons has no idea how to use it situationally.
Toronto is stacked with great veteran baseball players--- Donaldson, Tulo, Bautista, Encarnacion, Martin--- even Upton, Sanders. They definitely have a much deeper rotation right now than the Tribe does.

The Tribe offense is less dependent on the home run and seems like its a good fit for the postseason with how they steal bases, move runners, and dont really make many mistakes- but its just overall not nearly as good an offense as the Toronto offense on paper- obviously I know the game isnt played on paper though.

Clevinger starting game 4 worries me. Bauer and Tomlin have been homer prone during the season.

I dont want to say the series is over- and that it is a MUST win tonight for the Indians- but if they lose Game 1 at home with Kluber against Estrada it will not be good. They need to win Game 1 and start to put the pressure on the Blue Jays. If they can do that I think they win the series in 6.

Cleveland ESPN guy was on a local sports station this morning and said that game 4 will basically be a bullpen game for Cleveland. Not sure if it's that dramatic but if Toronto does somehow get to Kluber tonight it's going to be very, very difficult for Cleveland to gain any traction here.

TBS is fine.

I'm baffled why fox took it off Fox and put it on FS1.

Are 2 and half men reruns really outdrawing the MLB playoffs?

Word.

At least things like most of the major championships are still on network, but I guess it's only a matter of time before they're all on Cable

Has he fought any of his players lately? Although he probably has less of a reason to now than in his first stint.
Gibby is about as much a players manager as one can be. One would have to be a pretty big shit to get in a tiff with him (which Shea Hillenbrand was).

He did have a bit of a weird back and forth with Donaldson in the summer but it seemed to blow over quietly.

Donaldson is a fag. Just look at his haircut. You can tell right away that the guy has sucked more dick than a Tijuana hooker.

Shea was a shit head no doubt, but his tussle with Ted Lilly was what I was referring to.

And Donaldson is such a hot head that he has to be difficult to deal with sometimes. Great player, but has to be tough to be around sometimes.

I think it has more to do with them wanting to push the sports to FS1 than poor ratings.

My guess is they are trying to prop up the sagging ratings of FS1. They literally have a show about a woman pitching in the big leagues on instead of the World Series.
