Please tell me why Sale pitched an inning last night to help close out the Yankees when he should have been resting? If a game 5 had been necessary he was the scheduled starter, right?

He had a stomach flu, and is weak. Cora said he lost weight with the sickness. I didn't think he had any weight to lose.
