Congrats on the pennant Astros fans. Just an absolute buzzsaw of a team. Yanks had a very good team too. At least it came down to the end, though I was hoping for a game 7.

Holy crap! Too close for comfort.

So glad it's over.

That home run in the top of the 9th gave me flash backs to 1986 against that other New York team.

This time they were able to get the job done.

Woke up my whole damn house when DJ tied it.

Unfortunately, the euphoria was extremely short lived.

Why they pitched to Altuve I'll never know.

Congrats, Houston.

First time since the 1960 series the Yanks are eliminated on a walk off HR.

Congrats, Houston.

We just needed to get to the 10th.

I felt great about our chances if we got to the 10th.

The 2 walk offs decided this series. Frustrated but not mad. Stros are the best team in baseball.

The game that probably pissed me off the most was game 4 though. Tanaka can't lose at home to Greinke. Win that and game 5 then you force Cole to pitch in game 6 which eliminates him for a possible game 7

Congrats, Houston.

Why would they chose to let Altuve beat them? Chapman was down in the count, should have walked him.....When his slider hangs, it's a batting practice pitch.....The bats and some questionable moves cost the Yankees a chance to advance....

Yep, I understand not wanting to put the winning run in scoring position, but once they were down in the count to Altuve, should've just walked him, especially with Marisnek on deck.

I'm hoping Chapman opts out.

They could throw an absolute shit pile of money at him, though....

They offered him a shit load of money when he was in high school, and he passed (after his Dad indicated he would sign and caused the Yankees to waste their #1 pick)

Yes, I'm still bitter 11 years later.

Yeah, but the Yanks got Slade Heathcott as compensation!!!

That name made me think of Heathcliff Slocumb, who the Bosox traded for Derek Lowe and Varitek.... I seem to remember that those two were the battery for a certain Game 7 against a certain Yankees team in 2004. Thanks Mariners!!!!
