The 2006 Insight Bowl in Tempe saw the Mike Leach led Red Raiders beat Glen Mason's Golden Gophers 44-41 after trailing 38-7 with 7:47 left in the 3rd Quarter. So they won the "Biggest choke job ever in the NCAA" participation trophy. Even better. They can't even win the natty in choking, but tie in it.
I'm reading that this means TCU completed the largest comeback in bowl history with the 47 points. 31 points was the record, but that just counts toward a non-overtime game score.
I think we got an argument for Oregon getting the chokejob natty since this went to 3OT. I think the pollsters will agree.
yawner folks. Sorry about this. Tune in though to see the always fun Oregon offense and Vernon Adams Jr's last game. What a year for the young man. Unbeaten when healthy.

This game too went to OT, but the big difference and the reason we can truly dub the term duck'n it is the Gophers stopped the bleeding at 31 unanswered points by scoring a field goal in OT.
As we all saw tonight, them Ducks gave up 38 unanswered points! That should crown them with the greatest tank job in Bowl history!!
Yep, this has been a good game from cover to cover. It's at least something good in the background while we enjoy the fuck out of this glorious thread. Is anyone watching the ASU WV game? Heading towards another great finish and potentially more OT
