Precisely....this is why baseball is a marathon and not a sprint. But once you get to this point, no one takes anyone for granted. Just too much at stake.

We started this season in trouble right off the bat. lost our pitching staff and brought in some unknowns. Amazingly they did just enough to get to the allstar break. Now we have Derek Martin Yovanni Colbey and Hamels. I'm not sure how far we can go now.

All you really need is 2 hot pitchers in the playoffs. Hamels and Martin have looked the part lately.

I gave him some shit earlier in the season. I can only beg forgiveness. I knew he simply wanted to help the team, and just couldn't. I was just frustrated.

Btw, anybody want Gallo moving Beltre off his base next season?
