I would like Perez to pitch at home in the playoffs. So not sure who pitches game 1. The reason I ask is Gallardo pitched 8.1 innings in Toronto and shut them out on 3 hits. Then pitched in Arlington and shut them out on 3 hits in 5.1 innings. I know he normally would not be our 1st choice but he has shut them down.

I'd probably pitch Gallardo. He's been a game one pitcher before and I'd rather not have a lefty not named Hamels pitching game one against that lineup.

We started this season in trouble right off the bat. lost our pitching staff and brought in some unknowns. Amazingly they did just enough to get to the allstar break. Now we have Derek Martin Yovanni Colbey and Hamels. I'm not sure how far we can go now.

We have a chance to be one of those "that fucking team" in the post season and do something special. I'm certainly not expecting it but it's possible.
