I've heard this a lot the last few days but what is his story? Has he been hampered by anything because I just haven't read any details regarding his availability.

No clue. Banister opted for Ohlendorf and a tired Tolleson in recent days in obvious Kela situations, so everyone including the media assumed he was unavailable. But now he's warming up?
