Tropeano is listed but they already said Richards would go on short rest if the game has any meaning

Honestly, I hope they do start him on short rest. Never had much faith in that short-rest BS myself.

DDJ has a questionable arm at best

Does Brinson have a decent to good arm?

If so, having him in center, with DeShields in LF may be our best option moving forward.

I now it's a stretch but we're only down 4 runs. If we can get our heads out of our asses we can come back in this game as we'll have 5 innings to do it.

Angels SP Garrett Richards expected to start Sunday

Angels pitcher Garrett Richards will start Sunday's game unless the Angels are eliminated Saturday, MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez reports.

The Angels could have their postseason hopes squashed if they lose and the Astros win Saturday, so Richards making the start Sunday on short rest is not guaranteed. This would be the first time in his career that Richards pitched on short rest.

This team needs a day off / break. Unfortunately, neither is coming. We might have to start pulling for the snakes.

Announcers didnt watch last nights game apparently. A solo Hr per game isn't striking the fear in opposing pitching

You can mark this down as a done deal, and its not a matter of if, but when, "someone is gonna knock Odor's dick into the middle of next week."

These national announcers are awful. DeShields HAS to run to 2nd on a ground ball and completes a very basic slide into 2nd. Announcer says "it's that kind of aggressiveness on the base paths the Rangers use to cause havoc". Aggressiveness?!

The Angels can thank their dipshit beat writer Mike DiGiovanna from the LA Times for this.

At 5-1, he tweeted "Angels up 5-1, so Game 162 will decide it". A few posters chided him for claiming victory too early, so he deleted the tweet.

Too late, dumbass. You just pissed off the baseball gods.

Today's announcers:

"Stats are just stats" and "these two uniforms are no strangers to one another."

:trash:...........from about an hour ago.
