Offense masked it all nicely this weekend, but if these guys (and coaches) don't start paying attention to the fundamentals, it's only a matter of time before it bites them squarely in the ass. Again.

Who sits if he comes up? Devers makes too much money to ride the bench. 1b is logical as Casas isn't hitting and is making peanuts (Figuratively). But Anthony has never played 1st in the pros. Wouldn't shock me to see Worcester work him out there

Devers should be the one playing 1B. Casas looks pretty expendable, but Anthony is probably not the one to replace him there. Rafaela might be the odd man out of the outfield, but then all 3 OFs are lefties and that isn’t great for the lineup(or defense).

And then you have Yoshida(another lefty) presumably ready in a few weeks. It’s going to be a challenge getting everyone playing time this year. And that’s before Mayer even gets his shot.

20 runs and 9 Home Runs was nice Saturday, but 5 errors and giving up 9 runs will be an issue.
