That is a fact. Devers has been asleep for weeks but always seems to wake up for the Yankees. He also has 6 or 7 career HR of Cole? Hard to do.

nah, that was his 7th against Cole

wonder how long until the O's promote Cowser. he's been destroying AAA (.336/.482/.571) and he hit .341/.469/.568 in AA last year. Then you have Westburg hitting .303/.380/.606 with 16 homers already. that farm system is loaded

2 of 3 in the Bronx... not too shabby. Some good pitching performances. The Sale injury sucks, but I do have some optimism for a rotation of Paxton/Bello/Houck/Whitlock (of course durability will always be a question). Tanner's been up and down, but his peripherals suggest plenty of room for improvement. Unfortunately, the Sox are going to need them to hold up as there aren't a lot of viable options in AAA.

I will say, the Mayer/Meidroth/Hickey/Rafaela/Yorke tandem gives me some optimism. Yorke looks about ready for a promotion to AAA. Rafaela's been on fire and Meidroth continues to show off his contact skills and discipline. The fact that Steamer projects him to be a league average bat (100 wRC+) despite not playing above AA. He's become one of my favorite prospects in the system

Paxton got fucked over with that error, though I'm not sure who between Kiké or Casas deserves the blame more. Crappy throw and scoop attempt. Would have ended the inning. Sox also had a huge squander in the 1st

If Casas didn't get hurt last year, he probably gets promoted earlier than he did and loses his rookie status. Casas has over 200 PA this year, so he's technically no longer a "prospect"
