According to SB Nation, 66% of Yankees fans want Judge shut down for the season. That sounded utterly absurd to me, so I wanted to check with the Yankees fans on here to see if anyone felt that way.

Judge is missing on most of his swings, sitting him might be a good thing. Yesterday with a 3-0 count and a BP fastbal right down the middle all he could do is hit a pop foul to the 1b. At least Stanton is hitting the ball.

Gotta say he's been underwhelming. Elite offensive season in 2021 and one of the better hitters in 2022, but he needs to hit better than that for him to be an All-Star caliber player. 115 wRC+ from a 1B who can't field or run. That being said, his Statcast metrics do offer some hope (.383 xwOBA vs .337 wOBA). He needs to cut down on the ground balls

Exactly. Waaaaaaaaay to many grounders for a guy who hits .270

He has 1 homer since July 23rd and that homer was on August 4th.

Christian Vazquez has like 3 in that time frame.
