The Yankees predicament is they don't have anything anyone wants, except for down on the farm, and that would be pretty counterproductive.

I just hope they don't do anything stupid, but then I remember who's running things.

Who could have seen this awful team coming……:L

Not me. I bought tickets to see them in Miami next weekend. Never imagined I'd be going to see a last place team.

This is the team Hal Steinbrenner proclaimed was a “championship team” which we all laughed at

When will Booney grow some balls and drop Rizzo in the order?

I also figured it would take at least a couple more years for Stanton to become completely useless. Not sure what happened to him. He’s aging in dog years.

Definitely not me. I figured the team that made it to the ALCS last year, then added Rodon, would be hard to stop.

I just haven’t been on board with any of the moves they’ve made the last few years, Cashman has done a pitiful job and Boone is a clown/puppet leading the way……Stanton always hurt, players have fallen off cliffs offensively and Rodon has an injury history and was a risky signing from day one……also the AL has gotten ridiculously competitive and seeing the Yankees and Sox at the bottom is pretty telling……

The Sox haven’t been the same since the Mookie trade. Sure, they had the one good run into the ALCS in 2021(and almost knocked out a vastly superior Astros team), but that was mostly a fluke.

The only positive for them is that they almost have the bad contracts off the books(1 more year of Sale) and they have some good talent in the minors for the first time in a while. They aren’t so far from being legit again. If I squint hard enough, I can almost see Bloom’s plan coming together in 1-2 years.

Giancarlo, if you are reading this, I apologize for criticizing you, you have been worth every dollar and one of Cashman’s best signings……BKS was right…..

Really hoping the Yankees are dangling some of their bullpen pieces. Holmes, Peralta, maybe even King can bring back a prospect or two.

You sound like Hoover in Animal House, “well sir, we’re hoping that our midterm grades will really help our average”

I dont think it’s over for any of the teams in the AL East - at least in terms of making the playoffs.

Three out of five will make the playoffs from the East.

I see your point about Boone not making a mound visit in the first inning, but am not sure when would have been the appropriate time.

Rizzo is .191 with 1 HR in his last 52 games. No reason in hell this guy shouldn't be batting 6th or 7th nightly

Was at .303 with 11 HR in his first 46 games.
