Just what the Yankees don’t need is players getting in trouble for doing dumb things

Is Tampa the worst sports city in America? They have a great franchise that’s been arguably one of the most consistent in baseball. They have the best record in the league. I’m watching this series with the Phil’s and there’s nobody there except for Phillies fans. This is freaking sad. How rotten of a sports city are you if you can’t even manufacture front running fair weather fans?!?!? Why are there pro sports, especially baseball, in the state of Florida?

One of the biggest problems is the stadium isn't in Tampa, it's way the fuck over at the bottom of St Pete.

It's a pain in the ass to get to from Tampa, nevermind the huge market of Orlando that's a bit over an hour from Tampa, but well over an hour and a half from St Pete. Ain't nobody making that drive on a regular basis.

Your overall point stands. Baseball should only be played in Florida in February and March.

According to the internet that’s a 30 minute drive. I drive 45-50 minutes to get to Phillies games if I leave early enough to beat traffic and tailgate. If I’m pressed with my schedule with traffic it’s an hour to hour and fifteen minutes. Sports just hits differently here in the North East corridor. I have a hard time identifying with other regions of the country that aren’t die hards about sports.

Another strong outing from Bello last night. He's done a better job with limiting walks than I expected (BB/9 down to 2.5) and he's got one of the best GB% rates among starting pitchers (5th best among pitchers with 80+ innings). That he has a 3.04 ERA even with the Sox shitty infield defense is something.

At somepoint in the very near future, you are going to need to stop throwing this guy out there every 5th day
