Pace yourself, Cereal! Spring Training has only just begun!I heard he lost a lot of excess weight and that he's feeling lighter.

Low expectations this year. If that stick can give them 100 innings I'll call it a win.Pace yourself, Cereal! Spring Training has only just begun!
VERY low expectations. They’ve mostly been in a dark place since the Betts trade. It doesn’t figure to get any better without Xander, Erovaldi & Wacha. They finished in last place in 2022 and seem to have gotten worse over the Winter. The only thing that might bail them out is the expanded playoff field and less games against the AL East. They were brutalized within the division last year.Low expectations this year. If that stick can give them 100 innings I'll call it a win.
Did Chaim Bloom author these projections? On what planet are the Sox within 5 games of the Blue Jays and 8 games of the Yankees? The Sox finished 14 and 21 games behind those teams last year.FWIW, here's the current Depth Chart projected standings from FanGraphs:
Yankees: 91-71, 4.44 R/G, 3.86 RA/G
Rays: 88-74, 4.29 R/G, 3.88 RA/G
Blue Jays: 88-74, 4.69 R/G, 4.25 RA/G
Red Sox: 83-79, 4.55 R/G, 4.44 RA/G
Orioles: 78-84, 4.32 R/G, 4.51 RA/G

Pretty tight. Orioles project as the best last place team by a mile (only last place team projected for less than 90 losses).

It’s not the 83 wins for the Sox that I see as far-fetched. That could happen if things break right. It’s the 91 wins for the Yankees and 88 for the Blue Jays that I have an issue with. Those both seem at least 5 wins too low.I do agree 83 wins is optimistic, but it's also easy to forget they won 78 even with a rough schedule and their pitching woes.
Again, it probably is. A lot of projection systems are typically going to be more conservative with W-L totals. It's uncommon to see teams projected for 100 wins or losses. There's a lot of teams I'd expect to overperform or underperform their projected records. The Depth Chart projections are a hybrid of their Steamer and ZiPS projection systems. It’s not the 83 wins for the Sox that I see as far-fetched. That could happen if things break right. Definitely one of my 3 favorite movies growing up. What a classic!
I'd go with Mr Valentine's prediction of 64......
Looks like he's going to be playing a lot of 3b

Whatever keeps former mullet boy on the bench works for me......
It's time to ignore everything that comes out of Boone's mouth......I think we've seen enough of Donaldson.....he'll probably come out of the gate strong for a week and then be exposed as the season goes on giving false hopes......
So mid-season form?He looks like shit so far in camp
