You mean Nido’s bunt? You would have to be standing on the plate while bunting to be called out…..he wasn’t
No replay , dam shame too , cause it’s the first time I seen a big leaguer execute the bunt to perfection. Gave himself up, and caught the ball with his bat. The only reason I questioned it cause when his back foot went back was it outside the box, and I thought you had to avoid stepping on plate when ball was in play. Live and learn .

Bello looked much better tonight, against a strong Jays lineup no less. Too bad Barnes appears ready to blow it.

Rule 5 picks do not work out very often---- Cleveland took Trevor Stephan off the Yanks last year and kept him on the roster all year.

Has really paid off this year. He has been lights out. Solid 7th/8th inning guy with a nasty splitter.

ERA by month:

April: 0.00

May: 9.00

June: 1.69

July: 0.84

August: 2.00

Don't forget about Stephan either.

Entering Tuesday, he had turned in an A.L.-leading (min. 15.0IP) 0.47 FIP over his last 16 outings (dating back to July 10). Stephan also owned the 4th-lowest ERA in MLB since June 15 (min. 25.0IP) at 1.08 (3ER/25.0IP ... and it got even lower after a scoreless inning vs. San Diego), despite having the 6th-highest opp. batting average on balls put in play (.379) under the same parameters.

Alexa what would be the worst possible news today?
Maybe they're using this as an excuse to shut him down. He's already 30 innings over his all time high.
