Not really an extended period of dominance. One might argue that even during these two time periods, teams probably preferred to pitch to him than Judge even though Stanton was hot.

He hasnt (to my limited knowledge at least) ever really established himself as a force on the yankees like he used to be in Miami.

He reminds me of Pujols on the Angels, circa 2016: a nice player, a good player, a valuable player - just not feared.

Take a look at Stanton's 2020 post-season. He was crushing everything-basically carried them.

They both walked 4 times over 7 games, but Judge was the one who wasn't hitting-.111 in the WC round, .143 in the DS

Stanton carried them to game 5 of the DS-and set a Yankee record by homering in his first 5 playoff games.

-1.042 OPS & 178 OPS+ with the Dodgers

Small sample size, yes, but I don’t think he ever had a stretch this good with the Yankees.
