And if Diaz had gloved Andujar's grounder cleanly, they'd probably still be on the schnied

Twins come to town fof 4 soon enough. Tread water to labor day.
The onslaught will come.
Not really an extended period of dominance. One might argue that even during these two time periods, teams probably preferred to pitch to him than Judge even though Stanton was hot.
He hasnt (to my limited knowledge at least) ever really established himself as a force on the yankees like he used to be in Miami.
He reminds me of Pujols on the Angels, circa 2016: a nice player, a good player, a valuable player - just not feared.
Thank god
That just might be the cure for what ails them
9 game lead, we got this
Take a look at Stanton's 2020 post-season. He was crushing everything-basically carried them.
That might be the biggest miracle of all, after how bad they've been they still have that lead.
True. He did crush it then. Did he get more pitches to hit because teams avoided Judge?
My daughters went to the game last night with a group of friends, I begged them not to go…..
My point wasn’t that you miss him. My point is that he was a HORRIBLE fit in NY.Yeah, his 78 OPS+ is sorely missed
If he's fired into the sun the sun would likely stop working.Judge back in CF tonight
No word yet on if Hicks has been fired into the sun

-.621 OPS & 78 OPS+ with the Yankees
-1.042 OPS & 178 OPS+ with the Dodgers
Small sample size, yes, but I don’t think he ever had a stretch this good with the Yankees.
Wonder when we're going to see this alleged best defensive CF in baseball.
