After 5 horrible years, I think the ownership should just stand pat and not trade the overwhelming fan favorite player.

Regardless of the cruel logic involved, it just seems like it would be a dick move to the fans who endured this hell.

I would just hold onto him. I don't see him getting a huge haul anyway, and why potentially burn any bridges with fans during this surprising season?
