Not for nothing, but Giancarlo Stanton has homered in his last 3 playoff games, and 4 out of his last 5.

Something I said when we traded for him. He is one of the most intimidating batters when he is healthy and on a hot streak. When he gets cold it is hard to watch him get up there and strike out every AB. His streaks seem to last for half a season also.
In 2017 when him and Judge were hitting all those Homers late in the year Stanton had 14 homers at the All-Star break. He finished with 59 HRs that year so around 45 homers in 70 games.
Yeah, he's capable of going on incredible tears. Looks like he might've timed this one just right.
Strange strategy taking Garcia out so quickly, just backfired.....
Said it yesterday. Tanaka was the killshot.
This is Baldelli level incompetence.
I'm ok with Tanaka not starting. I prefer him in a close out game or a critical game 3 in a tied series. What I'm not ok with is starting one guy for an inning then turning to another starter. This is just dumb
Boone going to waste 2 starters and burnout his pen with no off days. This decision may have won the Rays this series
