Whoever thought it was a good idea to show the Marlins on opening day should be out of a job now.

I get that anyway living in Florida. As well as Sox/Rays.

Really didn't want to spring for the EI package again this year, and didn't think I'd need to with all the times the Yanks were on national last year, but I'm already having second thoughts.

Nasty

Tyler Wade has so obviously become a huge favorite of Boone, already talking about a straight up platoon with Walker at 2nd, and even seeing AB's at 3rd base

Have a feeling he may be the everyday guy at some point, with Walker spelling Bird and being a super utility type guy

The Yankees winning 100 games this yr. wouldn't surprise me, they're back folks. I think we could see another late 90's early 2000's run from them.

good chance they win the division, but they might not win 100 just because I think the division will be too tough or at least there isn't a true cupcake IMO. Red Sox seem like a pretty good bet to win 90+ again and there several projections that have the Jays/Rays at .500+. Orioles are probably the closest thing to a cupcake in the AL East, but they do project to have a decent offense and I could see the rotation being competent. At the very least, I don't think they'll be as bad as the Royals/Tigers/White Sox.

Wade had a nice AAA season last year, but is the power outbreak legit? He hit .310/.382/.460 there, but he never slugged higher than .349 outside of that and never had an ISO north of .100 outside of AAA. The contact rates and steals are interesting though.
