2700 hits and all anyone remembers is him hobbling after a ground ball on bad knees.

Sad.

Yup, batted over .300 like 7x, batting title and remembered for one blunder which was huge, but he shouldn't have been on the field for that play to begin with......At least the Red Sox fans didn't torture him too much.....Where did he hide out? Idaho?

Oh, but they "forgave him" and invited him back to Fenway after they won in '07.

He shoulda came out and gave them all the double bird.

:heh:

If the Yankees win either tonight or tomorrow, it will be their 9th straight series win.

Longest streak since the arguably best of all time 1998 team.

Huh.

Huh.

Yup and after this 4 game series with Boston this week, schedule gets very favorable for a few weeks.

AT TOR for 3
AT CLE for 3
VS NYM for 2
AT CHI WS for 4

Nice little 12 game stretch where they can go at least 8-4 IMO

Looking at the Boston series, barring postponements, pitching match-ups should be

Sale/Happ

Rodriguez/German

Porcello/Green (Opener)

Price/Tanaka

Should be fun

Weather looks great for FRI/SAT.

Thunder Storms in the forecast for Thursday and maybe Sunday as well

CC won't be available yet? I know he said he will be ready to go soon as the 10 day IL stint is complete

I doubt it.

They supposed to start him tomorrow from everything I'm hearing which means he will miss this entire series

I completely missed he was being activated tomorrow.

Last I heard he was still feeling pain in his knee.

Good news!

He didn't even start swinging yet so nope

AARON JUDGEOF, NEW YORK YANKEES

Aaron Judge (oblique) hit off a tee on Monday.
He also took dry swings and did some throwing. Judge has begun to ramp up his rehab over the last week and could maybe begin playing in minor league games sometime in early June, though he still has some hurdles to clear. The slugger has been sidelined since April 21 with a strained left oblique muscle.
