The Boone experiment should come to an end real soon!

Any coach that continues to play a player who digresses year after year, light bulb head Gardner should be canned!

Boone is clueless. And , bad coaches ruin plAyers!!!! Case and point birdman!

Just gave that f*cker away. Dammit.

Bad defense, terrible fundamental baseball. 2019 Yankees are starting to remind me a lot of the 2018 Yankees.

And that ain't good.

If Clint wanted to stay in the big leagues, he's not doing a good job of making his case

Last night notwithstanding, he's been swinging a good bat, but yeah, that was some keystone cops shit last night.

On a positive note, the Red Sox are playing like shit......

I am SO glad I took a day off, schlepped down to Fenway in horrendous traffic, parked in a spot a total of half an inch wider than my car, stood in line for 20 minutes to get into the park, and froze my colones off to see the Bosox play like the Bad News Bears at the start of the movie!
Unbelievable that the Jays stole home off Sale, nobody on the field said a word. Chris is also ready to dominate if they move the pitcher's mound five feet closer to home plate.
Neither team looked particularly good, although Shoemaker had a decent start and Thornburg and Walden looked promising out of the pen for the Sawx.
Oh, it was especially great that the traffic home was also horrendous even though I hung around after the game to have dinner. Going east on Storrow looked impossible, so I ended up picking my way past Fresh Pond and Alewife through still crummy traffic...I need to find a better emergency route out of that area. Would have taken the train, but the garage at Alewife is guaranteed to be full on a workday well before 8am and that sucks for a 2pm game.

Did get to see Papi arriving at the park, that was cool!

Give these guys time to adjust! They start playing games right off the bat , not in game shape, then leave the warm weather thinking of poss playing in the snow! Just going through the motions for now

I'm not giving up on the Bosox so early, it was just an ungodly mess of a day for me to see a pretty crappy game in bad weather.
It was also very strange that the players' names were not announced during the ring ceremony...and they started it so early and it took so long to get into the park when they started allowing people in 1.5 hours before the game that we missed a lot of it despite being in the area very early.
Can't complain TOO much about a day at Fenway....it was still cool to be there.
The drive there and back reminded me of just how awful much of the street layout in Boston and Cambridge is...some of the rotary placements and configurations could really not be any worse!!!!

It’s a long season. We’re only a few weeks into the season

We are, but I'm already seeing the same troubling lack of fundamentals I saw all last season. That's on the coaching staff, and ultimately the manager.

I was never the biggest Girardi fan, and I remember players complaining about his "boot-camp" spring trainings. I also remember those players being able to lay down a damn sac bunt and throw to the right base.

Yeah, they've got about a billion dollars in talent on the DL. I get it. Still doesn't mean the players on the field can't play smart.

The more I watch, the more I'm convinced he's the wrong guy for the job. And when he goes, he can take Rothchild with him.

You know dang well I was not a fan of how girardi coached . But, I have to defend him when it comes to the boot camp mentality. Both of us were in the cubs .org. Spring training was all about conditioning! Everything we did involved running, so much that we could not walk the next day! And we had to walk to facility which was 20 minutes away! Not even a bicycle was allowed!
