It is a rebuild. The roster is going to be god awful if you go for the young kids.
We can accept it. We can accept 10 dollar beers and 12 dollar french fries at the park.

But, There is no sane way to get us to accept a rebuild if they keep giving playing time to Davis and Wright.

Davis is still owed 100 million despite being the worst player in all of baseball. They refuse to DFA all that cash.
They will keep rolling him out there in some delusional fantasy he might suddenly turn it all around.

But, why is an older useless Mike Wright on this roster??? There is no salary albatross.
Literally, the no name 2B emergency pitcher today had a better outing than he has had in all his appearances.

0-44 now? They should make him work selling beers, hot dogs or cotton candy at this point....Something semi productive...His contract is crippling and I know bad contracts being a Yankee fan.....

Nice to see the offense finally starting to click before heading to Houston. Hope it's not fool's gold aided by Baltimore pitching.

Verlander and Cole the next 2 nights. We'll find out soon enough.,

That is to bad. He's one of the better pitchers the Yankees have. Hopefully he'll be back soon.

Davis now owns the all time MLB record, most consecutive ABs without a hit

0-3 to start the game clinches it.

Although, he smoked 3 100 mph frozen rope liners that probably would have been hits any other night.

It hasnt been all strikeouts the last few games

Progress??!??

:noidea:

I saw a comparison between Grienke and Davis in a pretty good sample size, Grienke had better numbers other than homers and RBI’s.....Unreal.....I’ll try to find it.....

Yeah, certainly didn't have Tanaka outduels Verlander and the bullpen blows it.

Not sure what it is with Britton. Great stuff, and the author of one of the best bullpen seasons in history, but I still don't feel comfortable when he comes in.

Hurry back Dellin.

A .585 OPS is pretty damn good by pitcher standards too.
