Putting in betances to save the game over an established closer like Britton was beyond dumb. Betances never been a good 9th inning guy. He performs his best in the 7th and 8th.

You have an guy who blew 8 saves out of save chances in his last 3 full seasons as a closer available but you use him in the 8th so you can use the guy who always struggled as a closer.....and never really been a closer.

Still the 2nd best team in baseball by record....been that way for a long time.

Not exactly worried about the Oakland A's.

As I said several times before, the yankees need to worry about getting healthy more than anything else.

They would likely miss the playoffs if they had to play a full year with this lineup and no Didi, Judge, and Sanchez for 162 games.
