What about Ellsbury, when's he coming back?

Going to be extremely interesting to see if they pick up Gardner's option. At this point, it looks less likely every day. If they can't do something with Ellsbury, that may end up being the decider, since they still owe him $47M at a minimum.
I can't imagine them picking it up, I'd be insanely dissapointed. Even if not Frazier, which I expect it would be, cheaper and much better alternative should be easily obtainable
More interesting to me, can they possibly, actually, realistically, enter 2019 with Greg Bird again penciled in? Or are they in on a Moosetacos type player? Do they include Bird in a deal? ( I know his value is shot)
Gotta figure they let Gardner walk. Judge, Stanton, Hicks, Frazier. At some point they're going to realize Dirty Sanchez is more the every day DH type than the catcher and Stanton is going to have to see more time in the outfield.

I tuned out of last nights game when Stanton missed a fly ball Judge would have caught with his back pocket
He's reminding me of A-Rod lately with the pressing for the milestone HR. I hope he hits it soon, because we need that bat back yesterday.
Funny enough Arod cannot stop talking bout just that Sunday night
And to think he was robbed of it a week ago
Judge says he will return with the broken wrist
Freddie Freeman last to do that with same injury
Was painful waiting for him to hit #500. Seemed like he was stuck on 499 for a month.
Stanton is starting to give me flashbacks.
Haven't you heard? He's lost 20+ lbs! It's the new and improved Gary Sanchez!
Well you know what they do with good hitting catchers to extend their careers? Transition to 1st base. Win-win.
Isn't a torn hip labrum one of the classic PEDs injuries? After six months of rehabbing in Tampa from numerous injuries, Ellsbury had arthroscopic surgery Monday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York to repair a torn labrum in his left hip, the Yankees announced Tuesday afternoon.
Recovery time is six months, which should have Ellsbury healthy for the start of 2019 spring training.
That's impossible.....No Red Sox player ever cheated......Isn't a torn hip labrum one of the classic PEDs injuries?
It was very suspicious when he broke out with that sudden 30+ HR season with the Bosox....
Ted Williams used to heat his bats in a dryer, that's probably illegal. That's impossible.....No Red Sox player ever cheated......
