You seen the defense the Yankees have been running out there the last month. Enough to make Jose Canseco look like a GG.
I have not watched the Yanks, so I can’t compare him to the Yanks current crop of OFers. He isn’t HORRIBLE, though. He just isn’t a GOOD RFer. He is passable, and I think he could probably be a solid LFer in a neutral park. Playing RF at AT&T is a real challenge.

It is so bad with injuries right now that Neil Walker has played a couple of games in RF. Right now our options are Stanton who is a passable fielder or Shane Robinson who is a platoon player at best.

He has hit the ball well this year. A lot of good defensive plays against him.

His defense leaves a bit to be desired, though.

He couldn't be hitting it too well he's got a .255 average to go with 15 HRs. The HRs are not bad but the Yankees need some guys who can hit for average and get on base. They have enough big bats that K often enough when they're in the order.

Went to bed early because I ran up to the mountains to check on things and the Yanks were up and the Bosox down then...nice surprises when I checked the scores just now.
As mentioned before, Yanks would be in first in any other division...both teams have serious injury issues, Bosox could be super fucked with Sale and Price. Bosox will just become a laughing stock if they rack up a ton of regular season wins and then bomb out of the playoffs!

Some bad losses this season, but that has to be the worst.

9:30 PM it looked like the Yanks were gonna pick up a game. 30 minutes later they lost one.

Hope Cutch was on the redeye.

Buster Olney of ESPN reports that the Yankees have agreed to a deal to acquire Andrew McCutchen from the Giants.

The Giants are expected to receive two prospects in return, one of which is expected to be Abiatal Avelino. The 31-year-old outfielder is a nice addition to the Yankees' roster and should bolster their lineup for the final month of the regular season and into October. He was hitting .255/.357/.415 with 15 homers, 55 RBI and 13 swipes in his lone season with the Giants. His fantasy value should improve with the move as he gets a much improved surrounding cast and a massive upgrade to his home ballpark.

One day someone will realize Betances isn't a closer

One day

Now they have fucked his fragile mental mind and he will probably suck as a set up man

You totally misunderstood my point.

The A's are 4 games back of the Yankees.

They're not passing the Yankees.

Can they beat them in a 1 game playoffs? Of course. Any team in baseball can win in that scenario.

Point is the A's will not pass the Yankees in the standings. That game will be played in the bronx.

3 month av bet right now since you're so confident the A's will catch and pass the yankees pussy boy

Ignore that frontrunner

He's not a Sox fan

These 3 paragraphs shows how dumb Boone is @nynasty @DirtDirtDirt

But playing to the matchups also would have made sense, and that would have meant using Betances, a righty, to pitch the eighth with the Tigers having five consecutive right-handers due up.

Britton wound up facing four righties in getting through the eighth, which had the righty-throwing Betances starting the ninth facing two righties and then two left-handed bats.

In the Tigers ninth, Betances walked the second righty, Nicholas Castellanos, then the two lefties went yard, first Victor Martinez with a game-tying, two-run shot to right, then Niko Goodrum with a tie-breaking homer to right four pitches later.

How Yankees' Boone opened himself up for second guessing again

He won't be fired, but he should be. He has very little to do with the great record, they simply are more talented than the very weak AL, outside of the 5 or 6 top teams. He is responsible for more losses than any manager that has led this team in 30 years

Impossible to win a playoffs series with him. This guy will blow close game after close game with his silly decisions

So tough these days to grade any manager because everything now is "organizational" decisions (like sticking with Bird). But pitching decisions like that, that's all Boone

What I said before remains... bring on the playoffs , cause all this means nothing!

Astros team to beat, yanks next, and THIS Red Sox team has to prove themselves!

As far as national league, nothing to be said.
