Drury is nothing special. Hopefully the Yankees use him as a stopgap at 2nd or 3rd until the rookies are ready for the majors.



Nothing special is still light years ahead of Taylor Wade.

He's a better than replacement level (barely) infielder, capable of playing 2nd or 3rd, and 1st in a pinch. For what they gave up, it's a no-brainer. Horrible walk rates, but he's got some pop, and not for nothing, the kid is genuinely pumped about being traded to the Yankees. Last time the Yankees traded for an infielder from the Dbacks it worked out pretty well.

I want them to get Cousins badly.

1. we obviously really need a QB, and he has been a top 7 ish guy at that position for a few years now. coupled with him being relatively young...not bad.
2. If Glennon was worth 18mill per year for 4 years on the open market...what is Cousins worth? I'd day 27mill is a steal.

assuming they get Cousins (still a big "if") they are 1-2 decent Olinemen, and a good CB away from competing to be 4th best team in AFC.

that's not bad considering how bad things have gotten.

remember they have almost 90mill to spend (2nd most in football and a top 8 pick
