I agree. Not happy with this at all. I guess he'll be used as a long reliever and a 6th starter if someone goes on the DL

Well Lynn is likely going to be used as a long reliever/6th starter in case 1 of the 5 starters miss a start/go on the DL

Cashman is a goddamn ninja

$3.5M added to the international spending pool. Improving the team this year, and guaranteeing there will be reinforcements in the years to come.

Damn fine work.

Neither is Lynn. Dude's got a walk rate of 5.45.

Concerning to be sure, but over a 50% ground ball ratio, and a distinct uptick in velocity his last 5-6 starts.

Never know how a guy is going to adjust to NY, but the way he pitches should play well in YS.

"Yankees are killing it," an international scout told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal. "There are still several unsigned international guys. (Cashman) upgraded his pitching, traded off surplus for international money, and can add very high-quality prospects to keep or guys he can trade (later) for top-of-the-rotation starters."

What he said.

Total reward transaction, zero risk. He takes Warrens mop up role in the pen, and unlike Warren, can make some spot starts. Total no brainer when you factor that the finances wash

Frustrating season when these Yankees play a one game Wildcard and the worst lineup I've ever seen in Philly, is in 1st place. Horrid

Don't knock it. The Sox did pretty well with the MS as well; Varitek and Lowe for Slocumb. :pound:

Not to mention Big Pappi was originally signed by the Ms and traded to Minny before he became a legend.

Well before he did more steroids than Lou Ferrigno

If their CF knew how to play a fly ball..............

Ah well, you want something done, you've gotta do it yourself.

Once we don't get too far back in the loss column (meaning 6 games or more) then I still think the division is up for grabs...

And yeah I had no idea wtf that Philles CF was doing on that play.

Removing Boston, peak at the Yankees schedule for the month of August

They can only blame themselves for not destroying the month of August
