Even the winning recently is very ugly

Sometimes you feel like a team is on the verge of a really great run, sometimes you feel they are just getting by

I hear you. Sanchez and Judge being down for a month doesn't help either, but they are 30 games over .500. That didn't happen by accident.

Still 10 H2H to go, 4 games back in the L column.

And we haven't even gotten to September yet, where the Sox have been known to fade somewhat in previous years.

Nah, this thing is still wide open.

Now Rosenthal saying Adam Warren to the Mariners. Not sure what's coming back.

This does not bode well. Mariners notoriously get fucked by the Yankees.

Ken Rosenthal and Emily Waldon of The Athletic report that the Mariners will acquire Adam Warren from the Yankees.

MLB.com's Mark Feinsand says the Yanks will get international bonus pool money in the deal. Warren, 30, holds a 2.70 ERA and 37/12 K/BB ratio over 30 innings this season but even with those numbers didn't have much of a role with the Yankees. He should be used in more high-leverage situations in Seattle.

Mariners are almost 20 games over .500. But have a run differential of -3. WTF.

Tanaka's got a 1.44 ERA playoff ERA and a high 2s/low 3s ERA in 2 of the past 3 Septembers....it's not a stretch to say that Tanaka's a guy you want in bigger games.
Did you not see the part I bolded?

Don't knock it. The Sox did pretty well with the MS as well; Varitek and Lowe for Slocumb. :pound:

Not to mention Big Pappi was originally signed by the Ms and traded to Minny before he became a legend.

I wouldn't call the Astros 10th ranked prospect "stuff"

But locker room character trade

Yeah, Perez/Paulino along with Giles is a pretty good return.

Wait a minute? The Yankees traded for $$$$? Have they become sellers?
