No, that's Florial. Estrada's a SS-coming off a really nice Fall league. He's in camp, so I guess he's not too badly hurt.

And yeah, Venezuela is a total tire fire right now.

I understand teams trying to save money, but when you are taking a couple of million for that much of a difference.

he was really good until September. Overall, he had two great months and four god awful ones. He has to hit a lot of home runs to have any value. He has some intriguing power, but his power numbers have been closer to "above average" than "really good". he needs to hit for more power to make up for his mediocre contact skills and inability to draw walks.

Rays acquired DH C.J. Cron from the Angels for a player to be named later.

Well, that came out of nowhere, although it's not altogether unfathomable. The Angels and Cron in January had agreed on a $2.3 million contract for the first-time arbitration-eligible player, but with Albert Pujols and Luis Valbuena in tow, at-bats were going to be hard to come by for the 28-year-old. As far as Cron's role in Tampa, he should have every opportunity to hit his way into regular at-bats on the club, which has few roles set in stone.
